* Donation of $25,000 to the Oak Forest Park district, our most recent project and matched by a $30,000 from the Park District and $30,000 from the Illinois Department of Natural Resources to construct the first skate park in Oak Forest, dedicated as Rotary Skate Park at the opening in September of 2004.
* Donation of $2,000 in 2003 to Together We Cope, a local agency that helps abused and displaced families in time of need.
* Donation and actual planting of trees at each school in Oak Forest, including six oak trees at Oak Forest High School.
* Sponsorship since 1976 of the Oak Forest community blood draws and free pancake breakfasts for the community: more than 9,000 pints of blood have been donated by residents and friends.
* Funding of the refurbishment of the Veterans' Memorial at the Oak Forest Metra Station.
* Purchase of permanent outdoor benches for Acorn Library and other places in Oak Forest.
