10-16-10 Blood Drive a success

It was a great Blood Drive on Saturday October 16th. With the weather not being in our favor, we still managed to get 45 units with 2 deferrals. Jim and his team set up at 8am and started the drive at 9:00am and ended right on time at 1:00pm. Several of our regular donors were there including Scott Burkhardt, Rhonda Ceska, Laura Clemons, Rotarian Jim Richmond, Mickey Skyrsky and a brand new recruit, Chief Anderson. Major thanks to all who donated and to Dick Sanders and Ralph Polachek who spent four hours apiece working the tables. Special thanks to Chrissy Maher for the Oak Forest ebriefs, Tami Kostecki, Chuck Toland and Rhonda Ceska for getting the word out.
