Chief Greg Anderson Speaks

Today's Excellent Rotary Program was presented by Oak Forest Chief Of Police Greg Anderson.  Chief Anderson talked in detail about the various departments and the work the OFPD does to protect it's citizens,  He discussed the necessary tough cuts made in the budget and the various new and existing programs, he also referred to some of the citizen volunteer programs designed to help, protect  the citizens of Oak Forest.   He answered all questions, and there were a number of them, some tough ones too.

Overall my impression is Oak Forest gets the best bang for the buck comparing Oak Forest to all the other Police Departments in Cook County.  I think the Chief's leadership ability has a lot to do with it.

Chief Anderson has been in Law Enforcment for 32 years and was a former Rotarian in the Aurora Sunrise Rotary Club.
