Immediate Past President Dr. Tom Halwax could be heard saying "We can be proud of the good work our Interact Clubs are doing".  That sentiment was echoed by Treasurer Dorothy Kennedy who exclaimed, "Interact may be doing more than our club!".

On Tuesday September 27, 2001 Club Service Chairman Tom Hoogland awarded the co Presidents of the Oak Forest Interat Club, Kathy Wanatowicz and Matt McKeown their club banner.  Oak Forest High School Interact has about 100 members and each member is asked to to 10 hrs of service each semester. The hours can be either through the school or in the community.
