Oak Forest Rotarians gather to serve the community through support of Together We Cope.
Oak Forest Rotary sent several ambassadors to support Together We Cope's Red Carpet Event and annual fund raiser Friday February 25, 2011. Rotary has four avenues of service, Club Service, International Service, Vocational Service and Community Service.
Oak Forest Rotary's Community Service events range from hosting a Pancake Breakfast, conducting a community blood draw, sponsoring the Interact Club at the local high school to supporting other community organizations like Together We Cope to do their good works in for the community.
Together We Cope and Rotary have formed a strategic alliance to assist the needy in the community. Together We Cope's mission is to bridges the gap for Southland residents in temporary crisis by providing food, shelter, clothing and referrals, empowering them to return to self-sufficiency.
Rotary is proud of our support of Together We Cope and encourages all to support their work in our community.
